Suzuki’s 2010 Boulevard M50 Gets A New Look

Shortly after following the Australian launch of the classically styled Boulevard C109RT, Suzuki has announced the release of the 2010 Suzuki Boulevard M50.

Suzuki’s 2010 Boulevard M50 muscle cruiser has a new look and it all starts with more chrome! The tail section and engine get some shiny new metal and other enhancements such as a new headlight cowl, reshaped seat, new rear fender and optional new tail section cover at the rear. Silver finishes have also been added to the 16-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels.

Integrated within the headlight cowl, the Boulevard M50 features a new instrument cluster, while the LED taillight has been reshaped to complement the new tail section. The updated M50 isn’t all about styling however, with the handlebars now closer to the reshaped seat for improved rider comfort, inverted 41mm front forks and progressive rear suspension with a mono-shock absorber that works with the double-cradle steel frame to provide comfort and sportier handling.

Weighing in at 584lbs (265kg) and powered by a fuel-injected and liquid-cooled 805cc 50 cubic-inch V-twin engine, Suzuki says its new entry-level M bike delivers impressive torque all the way through the rev range. A 32-bit ECM manages flow through the secondary butterfly valves that Suzuki claims “delivers smooth low-to-mid rpm throttle response and high torque output”.

It’s priced in Austria from $10,990+GST (and on-road costs), the 2010 Suzuki Boulevard M50 is available in black or candy orange, with Suzuki’s two-year unlimited kilometer warranty.
